Lingerie Washing with Le Blanc

Lots of people are scared to buy great lingerie because they don't know how to wash it. I actually held off on buying my first silk robe for just this reason. I finally took the plunge when I realized that my dad had been wearing silk shirts for years and washing them very successfully - this from the man who can barely boil water!

The truth is that it's very easy to wash almost any kind of fabric as long as you have the right tools and know what you're doing. Bella Bella Boutique is carrying Le Blanc washing products for just this reason! You shouldn't have to be scared of washing anything that you own, including expensive silks.
Le Blanc Silk & Lingerie Wash comes in 64 oz bottles, which is great when you need to keep a high quality lingerie wash on hand for regular use. It has a wonderful lavender scent and is perfect for hand washing all of your delicate lingerie. Even better, it removes tough stains like make-up, food and even blood.

Le Blanc Fragrance Infusion Fabric Softener has the same lovely lavender scent but can be used in your washer to reduce static cling and to make your ironing easier. It's also great to use on your sheets and towels in place of a linen spray.

I love the idea of these Le Blanc DryerSachets and will be picking some up for myself. Each sachet lasts at least 16 washes and gives you laundry a wonderful lavender scent. They can also be used in your drawers to make your clothes smell fresh and natural.

If you're on the road, you still have to find a way to wash your lingerie. This Le Blanc 2 oz Travel Care Kit is the easiest way to do that. Each kit contains six small bottles of Le Blanc wash in different scents and each bottle can be used for one full load of laundry. Dump one of these in your hotel sink along with your lingerie when you're traveling for an easy washing routine.

If you're washing your lingerie at home regularly like you should be, you'll also need some kind of tub to wash things in. The best kinds are round and wide, but you can also use those square tubs from big box stores in a pinch. Most importantly, make sure you wash each new piece of lingerie separately the first time. You never know what will bleed and what won't and it's easy to accidentally dye all of your lingerie black by throwing the wrong piece in with the rest.  Let your lingerie sit in your tub or sink for 20 minutes with your Le Blanc wash and then roll it in a clean towel to press the water out or gently squeeze out the water by hand. Then all you have to do is hang it or lay it flat to dry.
