We're thrilled to have new treats from Dirty Pretty Things to offer today! Dirty Pretty Things is one of the few companies that really lives up to their name -- their pieces are gorgeous, offbeat, and have a slight raw edge to them. It doesn't hurt that this season that they're getting inspiration from some of my favorite sources: Disney movies, traditional Japanese blossom prints, and Greek mythology (my college major!).
Floral patterns that are inspired by traditional Asian artworks are all the rage this season, but this Blossom print is an especially nice rendition of the classic look. You can look flirty in the Blossom Georgette Babydoll or relax in the Blossom Silk Kimono and Blossom Skinny Thong. Don't tell anyone this came from me, but more fitted kimono robes also work well when thrown over a pair of jeans with cute flats when you don't want to change but desperately need milk from the store.
The Cruella line comes in both yellow and pink (or yellow and fluro), and is actually the second lingerie line inspired by 101 Dalmatians that I've seen in the past few years. Black and white spots are classic, but the florescent trim gives this line an edgier feel. Pick up a Cruella Padded Plunge Bra and a Cruella Suspender Knicker for a set that works perfectly as a basic or as special occasion wear.
The Medusa line fittingly features a full on snake print that is guaranteed to stop any Greek hero in his tracks. This line offers some edgy lounge pieces like the Medusa Babydoll and the Medusa Padded Thong Bodysuit which can also be worn as an outerwear.
