Understanding back lighting in a photography is the lighting in a photograph that came from behind the object. Often, the back lighting comes from the ambient light around your subject. Some experts recommend using a lens hood when trying to increase the effect of back lighting on photos. Lens hood can significantly reduce the glare that are involved when the camera directly into the light. If the light entering the lens is not too much of a photographer trying to use backlighting, the image will lose definition. Ironically, the use of back lighting can increase or reduce the definition and complexity of images, whether or not used properly. Good luck.
