Conceptual Photography - Shooting Concept is Similar to Advertising, Stock and Photojournalism for Several Reasons

First, concept shooting involves some intense analyzing of a "message" that you want to convey highly.
Second, concept shooting involves careful consideration of your audience and how the message will touch them most powerfully.
Third, concept shooting is about emotion and the telling of a story in its message.

Shooting concept involves a lot of "mental" preparation, rather than on the scene analysis. Before drawing, you decide several things. For example, we will implement each of these considerations to the concept of love:

  • Message: Your message of true love or broken hearts?
  • Angle message: Is that your angle of the true love of family and true love of spirits near? The bitterness and pain of broken hearts, or recovery?
  • Audience: Your story written for the first time fans of high school or 50 years of marriage partners?
  • Emotional connections: In what ways can you cause your story to resonate best with your audience? The love that gives a sense of belonging? The love that lasts forever? The pain of betrayal? The despair of any hope of recovery?

  • Story telling quality: In a picture, your concept of telling the whole story? A picture is worth a thousand words, if a picture can capture the depth of history. It will just take some time in thought, and some well developed shots.
